The Napo Cultural Center is located in the Yasuní National Park, one of the most diverse ecosystems in the planet with approximately 980 hectares of Amazon Rainforest.   1. 3 Days / 2 Nights Itinerary

    Day 1 – Morning

    The journey begins from the town of Coca on comfortable motor-operated canoes, which travel down the river about two hours. During this time, refreshments will be provided. You will see birds such as herons, kingfishers, terns and other Amazonian shorebirds as well as beautiful riverside landscapes.

    Day 1 – Afternoon

    Upon arriving at Napo Cultural Center, visitors are warmly welcomed with a refreshing traditional drink and immediately taken to their cabins located on one of the most biologically diverse places on Earth.

    Day 2 – Morning

    Breakfast and early departure on board a boat to visit an amazing parrot clay lick. We end this morning with a visit to the “Kuri Muyu” Interpretation Center run by the women of the community

    Day 2 – Afternoon

    Once at Añangu stream you will board a small canoe and head down the river in a spectacular adventure through the forest. We will have several opportunities to see nightlife alligators and to listen to the sounds of nature.

    Day 3 – Morning

    Optional: We get up at 4: 30 am to share one of the ancient customs of the Kichwa culture, making wayusa to energize the body listen to the kichwa songs and think about important issues in a peaceful and unique way. Then, we will get back for breakfast, before taking a motorized canoe back to the city of Coca.

    Walk of one hour to climb up the observation tower of 35 meters likely to see a variety of birds, howler monkeys, squirrel monkeys, toucans, parrots and sloths.

    Day 3 – Morning

    We will visit the community projects, talk about the worldview Kichwa. Additionally, we will walk in the Mama Cuna road. It is an excellent opportunity to see more wildlife, ceiba trees, strangler, bamboo cane, vines and shrubs endemic from Yasuní

    Day 3 – Afternoon

    You will board a small canoe and head down the river in a spectacular adventure through the forest. We will have several opportunities to see nightlife alligators and to listen to the sounds of nature.
